Aceste premii se axează mai mult pe melodii și pe albume, decât pe artiștii care le lansează și se ia în considerare mai mult realizările muzicale și nu vânzările obținute. Festivitatea dorește să treacă dincolo de barierele dintre muzica de masă și cea necomercială.
