We start a new series dedicated to Korean artists and the first of them is ReBorn, a singer and a producer, who debuted with his mini album called ” Born to Soul” in April last year.

1.Hello! First of all, thank you for making time and accepting the interview.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. How are you?

Hey, It’s very nice to interview with Romanian Kpop fan site. I was so
impressed there are poeple like kpop in Romania.
very honor to do this ^^ I’m really good thanks. This interview was
supposed to be done in last year but i’m kinda lazy person…
haha. I really want to say sorry. Christmas? I think i worked in
Christmas. but it was good. I love my job, making music.

2.Your stage name is Reborn. Why you choose this name?

My life was definitely changed after starting music. I was born again
with music, that’s why it’s Re-born.

3.You debuted with the song „You and me”. What is the story behind this song?

Actually i wrote this song for my x-girlfriend(i mentioned it here
first time 🙂 ).
It’s about love for her and asking forgiveness for what i have done so
far. just like proposing marriage.
That’s why this song has two different feeling. Bright feeling and
little sad feeling.

I’m training a girl now, and she might be coming out in this year.
songs will be based on R&B.
I don’t want to make songs like light and easy to forget. well you
will see what she can give you.

5.You recently released your new single „I don’t want”. How would you

well…i wanted it gives you calm and smooth feeling when you listen
to this at the beginning.
That feeling keeps running out to the climax, and then hiden sadness
suddenly comes out at the end.
I treid to express understated sadness with this song.

6.When you started to do music?

It’s been 12years. I started it year 2000. Time goes so fast haha.

7.As an musician what’s most important thing for you?

I really want listener could know like ‘oh this is Reborn’s music’
when they listen to my music, kind of my own style.

8.What is music to you?

It’s the root of my life.
I think of music when i wake up, when i fall asleep.
I look for music when i become sad, when i become happy.
I can’t live without it.

9.From where do you get your inspiration?

everyehre, especially from trip. I get many ideas on trip. That’s why
i go so many trip haha.
I love to see new things, new person and new diffrent lives.
10.Did you ever thought your songs would have such an impact on fans?

haha never, as you know my music is not like idols music. I’m not an
idol either haha.
I was really supirsed when i heard i have fans in Europe and i wondered why?
I think you fans, also Europeans have deep sensitivity.

11.What are your future plans? Any new songs in work?

New album’s running to the end, has almost done. 1 full-length album,
2 singles and a new girl singer will be out in this year.
You can listen to 1st album of this year in March or April.

12.I know you like to travel. Is there any chance to visit Europe or Roman

ia?

Yeah i really wanna go to Europe, hopely in this year but i have to
see the shedule after new album comes out.

13.Would you like to come in Romania one day and give a concert?

haha ofcourse but when i feel there are enough fans for a concert. am

14.What are your interests except music?

as you know i like travel and i also love doing sports. snowboarding,
playing baseball, basketball and pool.
oh i loooove finding out yammy food.

15.Is there something u want to say to the readers?

I still can’t believe that i have fans in Romania. please keep
supporting me. That really gives me power to make better music.
so thank you. (i think i have said ‘thank you’ thousand times) That’s

all i can say.
There’s only one thing i can do for you. Making good music. Ill do my
best for my fans.
